![]() If you get an NHRA rule book, it'll give the exact requirements...something like within 6" from the u-joint. Most Mustang specific loops mount just in front of the rear bolts for the front seats. The FRPP or Lakewood loops are only about $25, I don't think your time, effort and materials can do it that cheaply.
