Well, first, it's not a "kickdown" - it's a "throttle valve linkage" - check out www.baumannengineering.com for info - they show how to hook up and adjust it. You can't turn the stud around? I have read there are some carbs that supposedly can't be used with an AOD. If yours is an Ebok, check their website maybe it will shed some light. There might be adapters, but I don't know of any.
