Unbelievable. I got a phone call late last night telling me one of the kids I grew up with died last weekend of a drug overdose...
All the children of my parent's friends ended up doing pretty well (me included mwahaha  ) but apparently not all of us were doing as good as I thought...I just burst out crying when my mom was referring to him as a body being shipped to NC for the funereal instead of the kiddo who was my first kiss...yep, the innocent, postcard type of smooch...hard to believe he is dead at 22. I know things change and people die...but ...geez. |
