Just a thought, maybe you could adjust your rear brakes up to cause more drag even when the brake pedal is not depressed. Get them to do the test, then go home and back off the rears to normal. With the rears adjusted tighter, you should get more pedal feel as well. I used to do that when I took my 78 Dodge to pass TX inspection when I lived in Lubbock.
