Would using a 90 degree pipe attached to your MAFS and than turn out and goes into your fenderwell work? Yes. Use flexible plastic pipe from a Home Depot-type store. Or am I just wasting my time. I think I am wasting my time but got bored one nite. No. You'll have to buy a K&N cone filter to stick on the end of the pipe as unfilterd air will screw up the MAF sensor as well as contaminate the engine. Just measure, buy the pipe, cut to fit, add the filter and you're golden. If you want it ready-made, Moroso sells a economical, ready-to-install kit (with a plastic intake pipe) for about $90. |
