Where does it sound like it's coming from? How many miles on the truck? First thing I'd do, since I haven't heard the noise, is check all of your U-joints. Make sure they are all good and tight. Does the truck do anything when you downshift and it makes the noise? Can you give a bit better description of what it's doing? Thanks.
