I have my factory cover (plastic shield over it) but yes it does,and yes my copper autolites stay very clean...i have MSD copper rotor & cap. igot rid of there plug wires ,and motorcraft 9 mm blue to.. these cars run best with the factory 8 mm gray wires trustme
