No offense intended, but.....why? What do you mean by "top speed street racing"? Are you talking about open road courses or long distance 150mph races on public highways and backroads? Is this going to be a daily driver? It's going to cost a fortune and will probably have poor drivability. You will have to replace almost every moving part on the car and reinforce many stationary parts. Reliability will also be very low. There's a lot of moving (breakable) parts in a V8.
