Just to clarify, I've never used a knife as a pry-bar...just saying not to do so.

Thanks for that offer, ultraflo. I may take you up on that sometime. Benchmade makes a good product.

I've got a great supplier in Amarillo: Knives Plus. Their mail-order warehouse has absolutely great prices. Generally about $30-$50 less than you'll find in stores. I bought a Bob Lum Spyderco folder for $113 where they normally go for anywhere from $150-$170 (spyderco's MSRP is $194). If you ever need a great price, e-mail me and I'll hook you up. They carry everything from Al Mar to Boker, CRKT, Spyderco, Cold Steel, Benchmade, Emerson, etc.

Also, if you've never checked out Emerson, it's worth the price. Great hard-use knives in service with every branch of the military in some area. I've got the Commander series with the wave feature...extremely fast draw knife and tough.
