H.O. and B.S.
The mechanic is confused.
All 5.0 Mustangs, including '95 GT's, have the H.O. (High Output) 5.0 V-8 engine. No exceptions. No 'special' engines, either. It's a myth. The Crown Victorias and other Ford cars and trucks with the 5.0 have V-8 engines that are not High Output due to different cams, exhaust, intakes, etc. That's probably where your mechanic friend got mixed-up. Trust me, your '95 5.0 has the exact same 5.0 engine every other Mustang had that year. |
