![]() Oh well, looks like mine is almost done for then. The shaft hits the bearing retainer when it moves back and forth.
Man $550 in parts! I might as well spend another $550 and get a new tranny, maybe a T5 Z-spec. My tranny does have almost 200K on it and its never been opened up so I guess I got my money out of it. Plus it is a stock 83 tranny, and those things are sposed to be wicked weak! It handled 320 HP for a few years and 25K miles, so maybe it wasn't that weak after all. Thanks again for your help. I guess I will put it back in and see if I can't get the summer out of it. Steve |
