245-45-zr17 were stock on the cobra. I run Falken ze-502 245-45-zr17 on my 97 GT. The have good traction new. i have to rotate them every 3,000 miles and just to get 30,000 miles out of a set. extremely good for the price. i have found them to be a good all around tire. not as sticky as some.
