![]() We have a feeling this rebuilt tranny just needs a new set of shift forks stuck in it. If that's all that's wrong with it then I'll have a new tranny for the cost of shift forks
![]() Also, it was a pain pulling the tranny 4 times but I know how to pull a tranny now without a hitch. Check this out... Tools needed to swap out a T5: - Floor jack - 11/16" wrench or socket to remove the MAC Pro Chamber. - 12mm box end wrench for the driveshaft bolts. - 7/16" wrench to remove the speedo cable. - Screwdriver to unhook neutral and reverse sensors. - 1/2" and 15mm sockets to remove crossmember. - 5/8" socket to remove the tranny mount. -Small crescent wrench for removing the O2 sensors. - 3/8" drive ratchet to pull drain plug. - 16mm socket for the 4 bolts that holds the tranny to the bell housing. |
