Saleen most certainly has the ground effects for sale, and there are countless auctions on Ebay for replica kits. I have also seen several ads in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords for the kits.
As for prep work horror stories, that is applicable for ANY fiberglass/polyurethane aftermarket body kit, for any make/model car. To be safe, you can pay the Saleen premium price, and run less of a risk, but there never is a surefire guarantee. You may run into nosey people that will comment how your car will end up being a Saleen "fake". Ignore it, and advise them to invest the free time they obviously have into improving their own ride. I'm going to search the Saleen site and find exactly where the kits are, Ill post again when Ive found them. Belle |
