![]() Have you checked the actual round flasher itself. My dad's '87 Jeep Cherokee did the same thing and i'd kick the fuse box (at the flasher) to get it going again. It should be right there on the fuse box. It may also be an intermittent or weak ground, so that would be something to check. Also, take out the flasher and check to make sure that the wire terminals aren't corroded, broken and that they're not stretched open.
