I'll have to second the opinion on BBK H-pipes.
My hi flow cat was terrible. I'm talking not even close. I had to bend the hangers, cut the air tube, and bring it to my friends shop. There we heated the H pipe up till it was glowing, stuck a pipe in the damn thing and bent it a good 2"-3" further apart. Incidentally, it was so bad, I shipped it back to Summit. Summit re-boxed the exact same H-pipe I send them, and shipped it back to me. I had to talk to about a 1/2 dozen people at BBK and Summit before they said I could modify it to fit and my warranty would still be good. I took it home, finally got it installed after borrowing my friends ratchet straps to pull it together about 1/2". A few weeks later my tranny blew, it was another 2 hour process getting the H-pipe back in. I've heard good things about BBK's off road **** though. I looked at mine, and figured the problem was all the additional welds on the hi-flow that was my quality issue. |
