I think thats a little steep for a car thats 14 years old. I guess it depends on what these after market parts are. Better be good for 10,500. The Kellys Blue Book private party value for an 88GT with 62,000 miles on it that is in exellent condition is around $3,200. (you can check this at www.kbb.com ) One thing to consider is that these cars are pretty sought after and that makes someone who wants one pay more to get it. Lets say that someone wants to pay 2,300 more than the blue book value for a stock 88GT with 63k and in perfect condition because the want it really bad, thats $5,500. That means that the modifications to the car have to be worth $5,000 to the buyer to get to 10,500. But, you never get back as much $ as you put into the modifications. So, if you have put $8,000-$10,000 into the modifications its possible that you could get $10,500 out of the car.

Of coarse thats just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Always remember that something is worth whatever you can get some poor sucker to pay for it.
