I was always under the impression that with a new set of heads (especially aluminum), you ran then engine up to operating temperature then let it cool down and retorque the cylinder heads? this allows the engine to completely cycle thermally.
My advice go to http://www.n2performance.com/index.html and ask the Jim McFarland, he's the former engineering guru at edelbrock so if anybody would have a no BS answer he would |
