![]() It all depends on different variables. A stock tranny with high miles won't hold up under lots of power. Get a good quality rebuild and it should last pretty well. My stock tranny went out at 100k miles, had it rebuilt by Aamco and it went out 3 more times after that in the time span of a year. I Then had a rebuild by a small shop who put quality in their work and the difference is very noticable. I've been running this tranny now with a 3000 rpm stall converter and all my mods for about a year. The shifts are very firm even without a shift kit, far better then any rebuild Aamco every did.
