Your engine creates vacuum when it's running, and that vacuum is an excellent diagnostic tool, which justifies getting a vacuum gauge. When you install a forced induction system (blower or turbo), the vacuum is overcome by the boost from the blower/turbo, and now you need a boost gauge. Without a blower or a turbo, a boost gauge is nothing more than a 11k tach is to a stock Civic. Take care, ~Chris
