![]() Why just stick with dusting imports, a few good mods and you might be surprising a few V-8s out there. I have always loved V-8s and will always have at least one V-8 powered Mustang, but I have been real impressed with how you can tweak a 2.3 turbo real cheap and be able to astound some people. The best things about these cars, especially the SVO Mustang like mine, is that they handle so well. With the way it was designed and the 4-wheel disc brakes, you can really straighten out some curvy roads. My car may not be the fastest from stoplight to stoplight, but I would be surprised if many cars around could keep up with me on a curvy backroad. My philosophy is that you will only get a few chances to really try out a car(safely and legally) on a straight line, but stopping and taking curves is a part of everyday driving. It's too bad people don't give these cars the credit they deserve. Good luck with it, there are a few xr4ti's abandoned around here, maybe someone will save them from ruin.
