![]() Depending on the 351W block a reverse rotation water pump has to be used in order to run a serpentine belt. Upfront costs are more expensive compared to a 302. The rewards are worth it. The biggest flaw with the 351W is breathing. AFR 195 heads work great. You should also buy a cam that is designed for low rpm torque. The trans has to be upgraded. i learned the hard way, and ended up eith a t-5 salad. Tremec tko has been able to handle the power. Relocating the battery to the back will help take some of the new added weight off the front end. A double sump oil pan is also critical. Good luck...Just remember its worth it.
