I bought my 88 with 2 chamber flowmasters without turndowns or tailpipes. IT WAS EXTREMELY LOUD! I even had the stock h-pipe on. I really wasn't bothered by the sound, I actually kind of liked it, except on the many occasions that the cops gave me a hard time about it. From what I've read, and been told, you are actually losing torque by using turndowns. Take care, Keith
