![]() The "pill" which Coupe Devil refers to is called a spout connector. With it removed, you can set the base timing with no computer interaction at all. Then when you plug it back in, the computer recognizes this as the base timing (14degree's in your case) and then adds timing throughout the RPM range accordingly.
Make sure you remove the spout before adjusting the timing, and be very careful to remember to replace it when done. Otherwise your car will be running on 14degree's TOTAL timing. Needless to say, it will run like a 305 chevy motor like that ![]()
