smog stuff from the head i think, a mechanic broke it, cuz it's loose, is this bad, or should i just leave it disconected? im getting an offroad h pipe anyways.

if its still there, you can bridge the break with a rubber hose, yes it gets hot, but it will take the heat for a while, it will keep your emissions in line till you get your new pipe.

I use a heater hose on mine and it's been there for like 3 years!
