![]() Without knowing what size engine and which "stock" cam (some stock cams make great combinations) you have it's hard to say how much potential is there with a cam change - but I'm still guessing there is a significant improvement there. You do need to be careful not to over cam your combo with that stock stall converter. You'll need a "fast action" cam - quick valve action which will call for less duration while increasing lift. This opens another can of worms as a good strong valve spring is necessary and preferably a roller cam (hydraulic). An early intake opening, somewhere in the 108-110 degree area will help with bottom end power - something you'll need with that automatic as well as proper ignition timing and curve. Good luck!
