I'm running a carter street/strip pump and it is about the same as my holley blue was for noise- both noisy as hell. You get used to it though, I miss it when I drive other cars. Plus, you'll know damn well if your fuel pump fails.
Oh yeah, I'm running 6 3/4 lbs of fuel pressure.
