no, mine was just bare wires. I've got the older FMS/autometer one that says FORD SVO on it

It looks similar to the EGR valve plug, but I'm not exactly sure.

Best bet would be to take your tach with the connector to a junkyard and start unplugging stuff

Or you could just cut it off and splice it back in later if need be.
