![]() Definately try to see if Ford will cover at least part of it. The worst thing that'll happen is they won't. It has happened to many, many Mustang/T-bird/Cougar owners.
Its a shame you weren't around the forums before, because you could have replaced it with a PI intake with complete swap/adapter kit from Livernois for about $650. You would have got an aluminum crossover that won't break again, and picked up 10-15hp along the way.
