![]() im not too conversant with the Chevy damper vs a stang (should be the same). if the washer etc is out......i would spray behind it, and in front of it with something like PB Blaster and let it sit.
if you put the crank bolt (w/o washer) back in - just enough to thread in a bit, and then use the puller, you wont take a chance on galling the crank threads with the puller snout. i dont have much else to add. i would use some never seize on the hub of the new one, to help with this in the future. do you have a halfway decent puller? CSK rents a pretty nice puller and installer kit. good luck. |
