Yeah, I would like it to be functional. My uncle, who I am helping restore this Mach 1 for, has aspirations of a supercharger, but he can put that in himself as I'm spending too much on it as it is! I personally just like the look.

It does sound like a lot of work, and eventually I want to start working on my own project so I guess I'll see if I can buy the hood.

I wonder if it would be better to have a body shop to install just the scoop? Must be cheaper than buying the hood and having it shipped eh?
