I'm assuming you've got the bolt-on filter Pro-M 80? That's what I've got. Check out what I've made for mine (attached pic). It is a 6" filter to the meter, then about a foot of 4" OD aluminum tubing, to a 90 degree boot that tapers from 4" to 3.5" (to my 75mm TB). I cut the boot at a bit of an angle larger than 90* to get it to kick out more. The whole thing turned out great, and cost a FRACTION of the price of Anderson's stuff.
I got my supplies from this place:http://shop.airflowonline.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv But I'm sure you could find it at others. Just an idea. There are other ways of doing it, but this is somewhat cheap and easy, and it flat out works. For NA engines, the straighter the airflow, the better. If I were an air molecule, I'd much rather pass through this than all the turns of a Powerpipe ![]()
