I agree. It's purely a matter of personal taste and style, however I think this particular emblem harkens back to the 60's or 70's style of badging on vehicles. Remember when most cars had their names in cursive chrome, or the displacement on the front of the fenders? Or how about when Ford used to stick the individual letters of the car's name or F-O-R-D on the hoods of some models? My 1979 Capri was a great example of that, and I miss those quite a bit; today's badgings are boring, just like most modern designs and looks, i.e. jelly-bean cars. But, I digress.
It just doesn't have a modern look to it, in my opinion, and therefore would be out of place on a Fox body (especially when you consider the shapes & stylings of the Fox). But like Mr 5.0 said, it's your car, not ours. ![]()
