best thing to do is warm up the car, shoot it with a can of degreaser, wash it off and let it dry so you can isolate exactly where it's coming from.
either way, oil pan gasket or rear main seal, you are going to have to pull the motor.
...then since it's out, you might as well stroke it, put some heads on it...etc, etc
