Longevity depends on how you drive it. Yes, it will bolt up, and no it won't bottom out on the crank. A friend of mine has been running one for 2 years behind a decent 306. Just remember to change the pilot back out before you would try to put in a v8 t5 down the road. Also if the 4cyl is a world class, you can use it for a core to put a nice gear set in after it's shot.
