I added a electric pump in my 65 due to vaporlock issue. i added it externally right after the tank ran power to the ignition with a inline fuse grounded it to the tail light buckets and added 2 inline filters. i removed the manual pump and used a block off plate. it works like a charm i even used a $30 universal pump still kicking after 3 yrs and my car is a daily driver.
