The 88 is gonna stomp the vert.
 1 car by the end of 1st, 2.5 by second, 3.5 by the end of 3rd. An 88 5spd hardtop should rip off a 14.4 off the showroom floor with a solid driver. The new 4.6L will never catch that SD Fox. Not until upwards of 130mph anyway. I can't believe this is even a question?  Hahaha, the 88 has the '01 by 400, nearly the same hp, more torque for the 88 (with the mods) significantly better torque multiplication. I'm not seeing where the '01 has a chance??  Damn this new 4.6L ego **** . I'll put $10 on the 88 for sure.  |
