![]() I'm trying to remember which starter I had to use on my C4 on my Capri....I'll find out for you. I remember trying a starter for a 1969 Ford Fairlane w/ 302 engine, since that's what the C4 came out of. I couldn't use that starter with my BLOWtech headers I had at the time because of clearance issues. I know, you're all saying, "flowtechs have clearance issues?", right???
![]() I THINK I ended up using the stock starter for a 1979 Merc. Capri and it bolted up beautifully. Give it a try! I really don't think the 3524A starter for an AOD will work on a C4, again if I remember correctly. Sorry I can't remember much at 2:00am! ![]() ------------------ Capri306, Moderator, The Mustang Works Online 1979 Mercury Capri, 5.0L -- C4 -- 2.73 1987 Mustang LX Notch ![]() |
