![]() Cutouts are little sneaky things that you can put in your exh. right between your headers and H/X pipe (or at least that is where I would put it, be more like running open headers that way). If you have a Jeg's, or Summit look in there in the exh section and you should see them. They are kinda like a Y-pipe if you will. Basically the ones that I have seen (electric and mechanical) are little things about 3-4in long and they have a 45degree opening comeing off of them with a butter-fly in it. When the butter-fly is closed then your exh just goes straight through as it normally would to the muff ex. With the butter-fly open the exh gasses go out of the 45 degree opening instead of going trough your whole exh. Basically, butter-fly open= open headers, butter-fly closed= full exh. Mechanical is manualy operated, electrical is switch operated.
