![]() I believe 98 still used the speedometer gear, after 98 is when you need to get the Speed Cal.
The Ring and Pinion is whats changed when you do "Gears". You will need shims, and pinion seals, and the whole nine yards. Ford Motor sports offers everything you need with there gears. I believe it comes around 209 Dollars. You'll see gears sold for cheaper, like Zoom, but they dont give you the Bearings, Shims, or Seals like you need. You have to buy those seperate. ------------------ 64 1/2 "D" code Red Mustang Coupe. 289, C4, Mallory duel point.
