Just kidding with you Shelby.. HEEH!

I have to agree with Hammer on the "Food, Beer, Sex and Cars". If I want quiet time I either pull an Al Bundy (mag in the can) or pretend I fell asleep.
Yup! See both genders can act stupid and shallow when they want to! Stereotyping is pointless, because there are always exceptions to the rule.

Why is that many men like to convey themselves as simple creatures with only a few wants and desires? Certainly you consider yourself a LITTLE more evolved than that? Being easily pleased is a GREAT thing, but come on...beer and boobs are NOT the secret to a fulfilling life (just part of it).

In my opinion, a REAL man is the same as my idea of an intelligent person...very complex and deep, and isn't afraid to go against the grain of the majority of men and NOT portray himself as "huh huh beer huh huh tits" like his peers. That's just like when girls purposely act all snobby and giggly when they get around other chicks (now isn't that annoying??) I think nowadays its the "cool" thing to be like The Man Show and just act sub-human and drool over women 24/7. True, females are GORGEOUS and worthy of praise, but its not necessary to go around with NO other goals in life besides leg humping!!!

Some of the most intelligent and considerate men I've met admit that stuffed animals are cute, and life doesn't revolve around MAMMARY GLANDS, for pete's sake. And no, they were not GAY. I despise women that think homos make "great friends" so be assured...I do not associate myself with men that carry handbags.

The "communication" and "inner child" stuff is all psychobabble, but I have found that the most SUCCESSFUL relationships occur when the people CAN understand each other. Knowing when your mate is a bad mood and could use a backrub IS communication. Being able to talk to each other doesn't mean you have to have some psych session where you draw pictures and read inkblots...

Anyways Shelby, I find that its mostly extremely intelligent men that don't fall into the confines of your complaints...basically the smarter the individual, the less inclined they are to just follow the trends of their gender, and more inclined to just say, "Work sucked, the boss yelled, and I'd just like to sulk for a while" instead of having a mood swing and being childish. Find one, and love him

I agree, its retarded....since when does BEING NICE equal being a HOMO???

But whatever, the guys that think they are so cool and "tough" by purposefully acting emotionless are only cheating themselves...honestly, what kind of girl can you attract by being a dick? Probably someone just as crappy as them I say continue! They're doing a lovely job of cleaning up the dating pool

That reminds me of a member that joined a while ago for a short time and just disappeared (too bad he sounded REALLY knowledgable older guy) during a thread when I was squawkin' about something like I usually am, and he told me to " kick em in the shins"
