![]() An aquaintance of ours has been driving a '98 Mustang, which has developed significant transmission problems. He says the reason is that a friend of his 16-year-old's jammed it into first gear at 45-50 mph from the passenger seat (when his son was driving), without the clutch. I personally think he's been driving it harder than he should have been, since I'm doubtful that it's even possible to get past the gates at that speed, especially without clutch. I would apppreciate opinions on the subject...
