Question 100 K Mile Stang

I have recently acuaired a mustang that has over 100 K miles. Now assuming that the engine was tanken care of properly, what would i need to do so that i can ensure some longevity of my car. I have about $2000 that i really want to use for speedparts but i don't want my car's engine to fail on me. So what would be that best additives and tune-up parts to add to my engine?
