Why would you want to that? Just get a 9 inch slick, and leave everything the way it is. That's alot of work to get a slick on there that isn't going to perform any better than a 9 inch slick, unless your pushing ALOT of horsepower. And I have actually tried putting 10.5's on my car. So it's not just my theory. It's a big hassle, and removing your quad schocks is only going to hurt your traction, unless you get an aftermarket kit that replaces them. Once again all the companies that make wheels and slicks, highly suggest going +- an inch. I've seen 155's on a 9 inch rim, yeah you can do it...but why? Just go with a little bit smaller slick. |
