Nothing to be disappointed about. An aftermarket intake wouldn't do jack anyway because the heads are so bad. So even if there was one for $500, it would be worthless. 96SNAKE is right on, save for the headswap. With $500, you already have half the money for the parts. The headswap is the way I am going, because all the cheap bolt on's in the world won't give me the peformance gain that the new heads will. I'll worry about gears, driveshaft and so on after I am making 280hp+.
But other then that, install a set of gears. If you think you might go witha headswap later on, go with 4:10's. If you think you might go SC, stick to 3:73's.
