As far as I know all 88 gt's had 8.8 rears. Up to 85 they had 7.5 and 86 up had 8.8 only 4 and 6 cyls had 7.5. Is it a real gt or something someone tried to make one. The only other thing is if someone changed the entire rear and put a 7.5 in there. What is the tag number on the rear? RAY
