I thought you were talking bolt in rear ends, sorry. As long as the differential you choose is an 8.8", with 28 spline axles, it should go into your car.

All 1986+ V-8 Mustang's have the 8.8" from the factory. LX 5.0 and GT 5.0 from 1986-1993 are direct bolt in 8.8" rear ends. That's all I was saying.
