You'll definatly need an AFPR. Without it, there will be no way to tune you S/D system. The fuel pressure is how you trick the computer into thinking everything is just the same as it was before.

I've seen the B-303 and the E-303 used on the SD cars, 88workcar has run them both. I think he's had better luck with the B cam though.

88workcar is running low 12's with Ecam, Edelbrock heads, roller rockers, and Edelbrock intake? Still, I think his car may be a little of a freak. Those are super quick numbers. Running better than the stock LS1's is about as good as I think you should expect. High 12's. 88workcar has done a ton of tuning, he's been very aggressive in trying to get everything out of SD as he possibly can. And he's got suspension mods.

Oh, and yes, I'd rebuild the car before making serious mods. Most 5.0's will begin to decline at 120k, at least in my experiance. Adding hi po parts for another 20k of life is kinda dumb IMHO.
