That's easy. If you want one solid game, (very good graphics, gameplay, decent price, new effects) then just get Max Payne. You won't regret it (I sound kinda like a commercial). If you don't have it yet, trust me, you'll love it. Do a search on the www for it and you'll see what I'm talking about. I think bigwhitecobra may have been referring to Day of Defeat, a HL add-on.
