Ditto the 331. It is awsome. I also had to order mine (O-ring deck and Twisted wedge pistons).
Motor is very tight. Piston to wall clearance is superb. I have 300 miles on the break in and I am dying to hook up the blower. This is the 2nd DSS motor for me and I have seen (and seen run) 3 others. All their motors seem to be excellent. A side note for the 331. You will need a new flywheel and harmonic balancer due to the engine balance being different than the 302. They balance the motor to a 351W balance. Expect to spend another couple hundred for these parts. Mike ------------------ Live near St.Louis? Check out Mustang Muscle and Dyno in High Ridge, MO Check out my ride. |
